    ПОД РУКУ2 говорить coll, disapprov I PrepP, Invar, adv often used with neg imper не говори(те)) (to make an ill-timed remark, often offering unsought advice) when s.o. is busy doing sth., thus distracting him: не говори под руку - quit kibitzing! don't distract me when I'm trying to do something don't distract me by talking (in limited contexts) don't speak until (unless) (you're) spoken to.
    На рыбалку я тебя больше не возьму - только мешаешь, всё время что-нибудь под руку говоришь. I'm not taking you fishing anymore —you only get in the way, and always distract me by talking.
